Curly-Leaf Pondweed (Potamogeton crispus)

Leaves are thin with wavy and finely serrated edges. Stems are branched. Upper leaves are often crispy and appear waxy. Leaves are alternately arranged on the stem. Flowers born on spikes rise above the water surface when mature.
