Leafy Pondweed (Potamogeton foliosus)

Short grass-like leaves that measure one to three inches long and branch freely on a slender stem. Leaves are alternately arranged on the stem. Clumps of 4 to 8 fruiting bodies are attached to a center stem by a short reed stalk that rises above the water surface when mature.
